Violette Morris (1893-1944), French sportswoman who won the Bol d'Or automobile race on the Fontainebleau circuit in 1927 (the women's sports federation sued her because she dressed as a man). During the Occupation, she became an agent of the Germans and was ambushed on April 26, 1944.
