History of the photo

Paris (4th arrondissement). The former Hotel de Ville, set on fire in 1871, the Louis-Philippe suspension bridge and the Pont Rouge. The two bridges were destroyed in 1862, the Pont Rouge was replaced by the Pont Saint Louis.
