Jean-Paul Guilloteau has traveled the world over in search of "magazine" subjects that since 1986 have illustrated the pages of L'Express magazine. In Europe, he primarily covered the former Soviet bloc, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the reunification of Germany. In Pakistan, among other subjects he has photographed religious education in Koranic schools. He covered the war in Afghanistan, the conflict in the Chiapas between the farmers and the government, the border between Mexico and the United States. From Asia, he brought back a subject on the Silk Road. Roger-Viollet is the exclusive distributor of Jean-Paul Guilloteau's non-digital photographs.
